Small games and tiny apps built from scratch.

I'm a solo game developer, making small games and the occasional small app, mostly at night and on weekends. I like building things from the ground up, with as few dependencies as possible, and I jump into game jams now and then (Global Game Jam, Ludum Dare, and others).

I got into computers early: a TI-99/4A around 1983, then an Atari 1040 STF through the late eighties, before landing in the PC world with a 486DX-50 at the end of 1992. The ST years left me with a lasting soft spot for the demoscene and probably explain why I still enjoy building things from scratch.

I'm a C++ developer at heart, though by now I have almost as much mileage in C#. I reach for Unity when I want to focus on actually making a game rather than getting lost in the tech and head back to C++ (raylib) or try Rust (Bevy) when a project calls for it.

Away from the editor, mostly bikes. I vélotaf, ride on weekends somewhere between leisure and sport, and I'm a member of MDB (Mieux se Déplacer à Bicyclette), a cycling-advocacy nonprofit. I keep more bikes than strictly necessary: hybrid, steel & carbon gravel, steel road… steel is real. Otherwise I cook a fair bit: bread, but also pizza, focaccia, and well beyond.

What I'm building

ColorQuads

A puzzle game of concentric colored rings: cycle, place, and chain cascades against a ticking sweep timer. Every sound synthesized in code.
